Take my heart and seal it

So, the other day i woke up feeling quite down, stressed up and the like. I really needed somebody to open up to, to cry to and find comfort, but for some reason everyone seemed busy. I thought of calling a few, but the calls wouldn’t go through. Thought of texting another, they went offline. I couldn’t understand why God seemed to be saying i shouldn’t share.

All of a sudden i remembered a prayer i made few days ago…asking God to take my heart and seal it, that I may not wander, for I am prone to, from the God i love. I asked Him to place me in situations where I’ll only find comfort in Him…and He seemed to be responding. I have learnt to strengthen myself in the Lord. I have to shift my source of fulfillment and find it in Christ alone, and in self discovery.  I have learnt that in order to keep us to Himself, God allows a situation that will help us always look up to Him, especially in the times that we think we can find all the fulfillment elsewhere. He allowed a thorn in Paul’s flesh to keep him from becoming conceited.
